Here is my posting for Sky Watch Friday Nov. 20, Although the photographs were taken on Nov. 19 early morning sunrise.

After Two days or rainy skies the sun is beginning to rise and the clouds are rolling off to the North East as we anticipate partly cloudy afternoon skies here in the mountains of NC.

First light in the East on a very foggy morning

The Sun rises from a break in the clouds a few minutes later

Clouds break apart reveling a Blue Sky

Foggy Sunrise in the North West

Sunrise to the North East

I really enjoyed watching your clouds roll away and that blue sky appear. Very nicely done and with your music, a rare experience. Thanks!

Gorgeous shots of the sky in the NC mountains. I live in the triangle area of NC but my mother was from Boone and I have friends and family in the Asheville area. I've always spent a lot of time both in the northern and southern NC mountains.

OH, I would have loved to be in the middle of that pink haze in the first shot.

Lovely skies.

To start so gloomy and then become sunny. That's the best! The pictures are great. I like how you show the different locations.

I love irridescent foggy sunrises. They lent a wonderful softness to the landscape. I get up with the sun too, I wouldn't miss the wonder of a new day.

Aren't the skies just a little bit more bluer when you have too many days of rain. Thanks for adding to the Sky Watch Friday adventure.
