When Morning Glorys Take Over

I decided today to bring you a view of the invasion of the Morning Glorys that take over the garden as the crops wind down in early fall and we let them grow as most of the crop of veggies etc. is gone.

You may click on any image to enlarge for a better view.

Morning Glorys come in a plethora of colors and just grow wild, I think they may come from some of the straw I place around the plants in the garden, otherwise I have no idea where the seeds come from.

I am putting in just a few photographs of the different colors that appear in our garden.

First photo showing how they take over.

A Beautiful White one with Purple star center

A Pale Powder Blue one with Purple Star center

A very Pale Pink one with Redish Pink Star center

Another Blue one, slightly darker Blue, with Purple Star center

Just had to photograph this Bumble Bee on the Pale Blue one

Another variety of Giant White Morning Glory

I've always liked the flower of the morning glory, but the vines are a pain to tear out at the end of the season.

I don't believe I've ever seen so many different colors of morning glories and I wasn't aware they grew wild either. I learned something new this morning...Thank you for sharing them.
